This is a site where I'll hopefully guide you through the somewhat confusing world of bike riding and ownership.

Can I Ride?

Have you ever longed to ride one?Or maybe didn't know where to go,who to ask,and so on?Well thats where I can help you, possibly!
I've been riding motorcycles for about 10 years now,and can honestly say that it's been a fantastic experience, albeit with a long learning curve after passing my test. And yes, every motorcyclist that I've ever asked has said to me that passing their test was one of the best things that they had ever done.So yes,you can ride! It's just a case of mind over matter and lots of practise.

Should I Ride?

Well yes,If you're tired of traffic jams, poor public tranport and constant delays, then why not?
You may also consider a motorbike for a purely leisure time pursuit, which is where most people enjoy their riding best.

Is It Dangerous?

Yes and no is the answer to that one! Obviously there's more risk of an injury if you a riding a motorcycle, due to the fact that there's no "protective" shell surrounding you if you should be unfortunate to be involved in an accident. If you plan well ahead and react in plenty of time to other road users, then there's no reason to suggest that biking is any more dangerous than other forms of transport.*Remember* Only the driver/rider of the vehicle is the dangerous part of the equation concerning road safety.

What Bike Should I Buy?

On the next page I will be concentrating on the type of bikes that us bikers tend to buy straight after passing our motorcycle tests.Ok,I'll admit they're not the kind of bikes that we all dream of,although many people do buy their dream bike as their first bike.By and large the most popular range of bikes that first-timers tend to buy is in the 500cc-600cc bracket. This is by no means a bad thing, since most of these machines are very user friendly for the budding novice.I have included a couple of gems as well which should not be sniffed at,even for the advanced rider out there.....so read on!
